FORT MYERS, Fla. - Dozens of protesters hit the streets of downtown Fort Myers to show their opposition against the United States taking any military action against Syria.
They marched through the streets to make it clear that President Obama and members of Congress should stay out of the civil war currently being waged in Syria.
The protesters agreed the use of chemical weapons is a tragedy but that it's not a reason to go to war.
Mazen Doud, who was born in Syria, says while it's bad in his former homeland, it's not a reason for the U.S. to get involved.
Others said going to war would be immoral and illegal and would only go to serve the military industrial complex and the interests of big oil.
