NAPLES, Fla.- A pilot who survived a plane crash is grateful for the first responders who helped track him down and save him.
On March 16, dispatcher Richard Swink took the 911 call.
""Hi. I crashed about 5 miles west of the Immokalee airport," said Pilot Anthony Radelat.
On the line was a pilot who crashed. The plane was upside down and swallowed by trees.
"I had to stay on the phone with him for almost 2 hours and try to keep him awake...just giving him hope we would come that we would be there," said Swink.
Pilot Anthony Radelat took his ultralight plane out on a Saturday morning for fun, but the plane lost altitude and crashed in a remote area. Radelat had a laundry list of injuries including broken bones and internal bleeding.
