Witnesses tell police they saw the Mercury in the parking lot next to what appeared to be a black Nissan when they heard several gunshots and saw the car crash into the building.
Witnesses say they saw two black males run from the apartment complex, one was wearing a black shirt, the other a white shirt.
Late Monday morning several police officers returned to the apartment complex where they questioned an individual and checked them for gun powder residue. The test was negative and the person was allowed to go free.
