Narcotics search warrant nets 2 arrests in Englewood
ENGLEWOOD, Fla. - Two men were arrested Friday morning on a variety of drug charges when Narcotics detectives served a search warrant at the eastern Englewood house of one of the men.
Shortly after 6 am on September 20 members of the Narcotics Unit and the Street Crimes Unit arrived on Mill Terrace to serve a search warrant. The door to the house was open and the detectives could see two men in the living room area. They were identified as 45-year-old Christopher Ricci and 36-year-old Dennis Lovelace of Englewood.
During the search of the house they did locate a plastic bag hidden behind drywall and insulation that contained five plastic baggies of marijuana.
Detectives located more marijuana and smoking devices in the living room of the home.
In a bathroom pills were found that were determined to be Clonazapam.
They also found a small clear cylinder that contained a substance that tested positive for opiates.
Dennis Lovelace was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Withholding Information from a Medical Practitioner. He was being held at the Charlotte County Jail on a total $4,500 bond.
Christopher Ricci was charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Sell, three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on an $11,000 bond.
