LeeTran looks for input over proposed rate increases

 LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Lee County Transit wants your input over the next several weeks about a proposed rate increase. 

The proposed increase would raise the adult fare from $1.25 to $1.50. 

Pass prices are also being looked at for a possible increase. 

During public meetings, you will have a chance to learn about the proposal and have the opportunity to question LeeTran staff. 

Lee County commissioners will hold a hearing and vote on the propsal August 19th. 

If you would like to participate, you can email your comments to rideleetran@leegov.com, complete a survey at LeeCountyTownHall.com or attend one of the five meetings around the county.
