BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Downtown Bonita Springs was the site of some finger-licking good fun this weekend.

The Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon and Physicians Regional Healthcare System celebrated the 20th annual Taste of Bonita.

Hundreds flocked to Riverside Park to get their hands on some of the city's tastiest food from more than 20 locally owned restaurants.

"That's what it's all about, bringing our local community together and have a good time and everybody share, it's fun," Chip Greenwood, owner of Buffalo Chips Restaurant, said. "It's getting better every year and the Rotary Club, they make good money to donate through this too."

The event provides fundraising for charities like Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida and the Wheelchair Foundation.

To date, the Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon has donated more than $75,000 to charity.
