FORT MYERS, Fla. - Hundreds exercised for a cause at the tenth annual Everyone Rides and Everyone Runs event.
Everyone Rides is a family friend, non competitive ride for all ages and skills.
"This is my first time ever being on a bike ride," 12-year-old Lena Gaffoli said.
Sunday may have been Gaffoli's first official race, but she's been riding almost everyday in her neighborhood.
"The wind goes into your face and it feels really nice and it feels like you're free," Gaffoli said.
Gaffoli rode with her aunt in the 15 mile race. There was also a 62, 100 and 30 mile ride.
The event wasn't just for cyclists. Runners could participate in a 5K and half marathon race. And those who wanted to kick back could sample delicious food at the Everyone Relax event.
The proceeds from the three events will go towards the Boys and Girls Club of Lee County.
