Fort Myers police arrest murder suspect

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police arrested a man wanted for murder in Palm Beach County during a traffic stop on Thursday.

Police spotted a man riding in a car not wearing a seatbelt.  When asked for his identification he told officers his name was "Edison Jefferson".  Police couldn't confirm his identity so he was taken to the Lee County Jail where a fingerprint scan revealed his true identity

The man was actually 26-year-old Herman Thomany of Boynton Beach, wanted for second degree murder in Palm Beach County.
