Fort Myers man charged in Alligator Alley crash
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol arrested a Fort Myers man Thursday after they say he crashed a small sport utility vehicle on Alligator Alley.
33-year-old Hector Mateo Sebastianmatias was charged with felony child neglect and driving without a license.
The crash near MM 74 ejected a child and a woman at around 3:20 p.m. on westbound I-75.
Troopers say Sebastianmatias rolled his SUV in the median. They arrived to find a pregnant woman, 34-year-old Dominga Pablo, lying on the ground, and a child also lying in the median with cuts on his head and face.
