Fort Myers K-9 unit nabs burglary suspect

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police made a quick arrest after getting a burglary call Thursday night just before 9 p.m.
A caller told police a suspect had smashed out a window and was inside a business in the 2600 block of Fowler Street.
Officers spotted 48-year-old Fred Moreland and they say he dropped a stolen television and began to run.
A perimeter was established and Officer Shaun Nenadal and his K9 partner chase quickly captured Moreland.
Moreland is charged with burglary, larceny and resisting arrest without violence.
