CREATED Sep. 24, 2013

FORT MYERS – Heavy flooding caused a section of I-75 in Fort Myers to close Tuesday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol shut down the Palm Beach I-75 northbound ramp for hours while crews worked to drain water and mud from the road.

That section of the interstate finally reopened around 1 p.m.
