FORT MYERS, Fla. - A report from the Lee County Sheriff's Office shows that Jose Suazo confessed to shooting and killing his wife and son Thursday morning in Golden Gate.

Suazo made a videotape confession to two detectives after his arrest on I-75 in Lee County Thursday afternoon.

The 48-year-old Suazo was ordered held without bond by a Lee County judge Friday morning when the double murder suspect made his first court appearance.

Suazo is charged with killing his wife Johana Nunez and his 18-year-old son Joseph.  He was later captured in a traffic stop.
