Disturbance call leads to Cape Coral drug arrests

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Cape Coral police arrested a couple Saturday afternoon after responding to a domestic disturbance call.

32-year-old Daisy Gascue and 31-year-old Michael Gonzalez were arrested on drug charges.

Police responded to Gascue's 911 call in the 1300 block of SW 5th Place and found drugs, money and drug paraphernalia.

Police found $3,690 in cash, 13.9 grams of marijuana, .9 grams of cocaine, 1.2 grams of alprazolam, 79 shotgun shells, an AR-15 rifle with magazines and accessories

Neither Gascue nor Gonzalez had a valid prescription for the alprazolam and Gonzalez is a convicted felon and cannot possess a firearm

Gascue was charged with possession of marijuana.  Gonzelez was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon and ammunition by a convicted felon.
