FORT MYERS, Fla. - A Lee County deputy called to investigate a verbal confrontation came away with an arrest for drug possession.
The deputy says he was called to the 3200 block of Broadway Tuesday afternoon where 32-year-old Marcus Gullman complained about a woman who had verbally threatened him.
Gullman, when asked why he was mad told the deputy, "Because I had bought dope from her daughter and now I'm gonna turn her in to the police." Gullman later produced a bag which resembled marijuana.
The deputy then read Gullman his rights and besides the small bag of marijuana the deputy found a hydrocodone pill.
Gullman was charged with marijuana possession, not more than 20 grams and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
