Bad crash injures 2 in Golden Gate

GOLDEN GATE, Fla. - A two vehicle crash this afternoon in Golden Gate critically injured one woman and seriously injured a man.
The crash happened at Golden Gate Parkway and 44th Street SW. The Florida Highway Patrol says 60-year-old Michael Earl Crabtree of Naples was driving east on Golden Gate Parkway in a Ford F-250 approaching a red light at 445h Street SW.
80-year-old Christina Angela Nunes was driving a Ford Taurus was making a left turn onto Golden Gate Parkway when Crabtree failed to stop at the red light and hit the driver's side of the Taurus.
Nunes was taken to Physician's Regional in critical condition. Crabtree was taken to Naples Community Hospital in serious condition.
Charges are pending.
