Arrest made in Fort Myers baby/SUV theft

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police arrested one of two suspects sought in the theft of a SUV on July 12 at the Brittany Apartments which had a baby inside.
22-year-old Jamie Ward was arrested on charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and petit theft.
A man initially stole a KIA Sportage that had a baby inside, but dropped the child off just a short distance away at the Sienna Apartments. The baby was unharmed.
Surveillance video had shown Ward following the stolen SUV in a white sedan. Later Ward was seen with the other suspect using a credit card stolen from the SUV at various stores around Fort Myers.
The investigation is ongoing as police search for the man who took the SUV with the baby inside.
