911 calls released in Charlotte County Deputy shooting

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The 911 calls from the day Sergeant Michael Wilson was killed in the line of duty have been released from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.
 
Sergeant Wilson was responding to a domestic dispute when he was shot and killed by Jay Vanko on Aug. 5th at the Lakes of Tuscana apartments in northeast Port Charlotte.  
 
Vanko then took his own life.
 
The recording starts with Vanko's son calling and then a description of the altercation followed by a report of shots fired described by two neighbors.
