3 arrested in Fort Myers drug bust

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police arrested three people Friday morning on drug charges.
The arrests came after officers served a search warrant at 3320 Handy Court following an investigation by undercover detectives.
Police seized 4.8 grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and some cash.
Charged were 39-year-old Sam Harris, 39-year-old Katie Harris and 39-year-old Angel Thomas.
In addition, Lee County Animal Control responded to the scene after officers discovered a deceased dog on the property. Police also called City Code Enforcement to the scene due to the condition of the residence. Code Enforcement is requiring that the property be vacated within 24 hours.
