More animal attacks in Fort Myers

CREATED Nov. 9, 2013

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Killer dogs in Fort Myers strike again.

Fox 4 News first told you that pit bulls were running loose and killing rabbits in one neighborhood.
Now, another victim to report.
Paula Adams was talking to her cat through her living room window...asking if she was ready to come inside. and then in seconds everything changed.
Two large dogs came running around her neighbor's trailer and attacked her cat, leaving her for dead.
Paula says, "She was laying right here in this area, and the dogs came around that corner... Her whole stomach was all torn apart.  She laid here for about two minutes. and all I could do was ... all I could do was tell her I love her.  I knew she wasn't going to make it.
Paula gave the same description of the dogs as all the other eyewitnesses. one cream colored, one dark.
Both with stocky builds, similar to a pit bull.
FMPD has already issued a "be on the look out" to all officers patrolling east Fort Myers.
They've even set up traps.
Trapped or not, for Paula, she feels entirely alone.
Paula said, "she would sit right here on this block. I cant tell you how many times I've looked at this block today. kind of expecting her to sit there."
Paula described the dogs like everyone else has:  they look well fed and groomed.
They were last spotted last night running down Palm Beach Blvd.
