Teen shot walking home in Lehigh Acres

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - Lee County deputies are investigating the shooting of a teenage girl in the 3300 block of 7th Street West.
The sheriif's office says the girl was walking home shortly after 2 p.m. from her bus stop when she got shot in the leg.
She was taken to Lee Memoral with non-life threatening injuries.
The teen is a juvenile so her name isn't being released.
The sheriff's office is now looking for the shooter. No details are available other than the suspect is believed to be a man.
John Gazda lives in the house next to where the shooting happened. He says crime has just been getting worse and he is thinking of moving.
Thursday afternoon Gazda was sitting on his couch watching tv when he heard the gunshots.
He looked out the back door and saw someone riding a bike away from the scene in a hurry.
Deputies say neighbors are not in danger at this time.
