VENICE, Fla. - A two vehicle crash Friday afternoon claimed the life of a 56-year-old Port Charlotte woman.
Sally Moore was killed driving her Ford Explorer northbound on I-75 near MM 191.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Moore was in the right lane when 47-year-old Elani Caglioti of Fort Myers moved from the center lane to the right lane.
The FHP says Caglioti failed to see Moore's SUV and clipped the rear of it causing her to lose control and flip over.
Caglioti managed to bring his Honda Odyssey to a controlled stop. He was cited for careless driving.
