Zach Reyna expected to save lives in his death
LABELLE, Fla. - Zac Reyna's family is hoping their tragedy will turn into hope for countless other families.
They have announced plans to donate organs from the 12-year-old boy from LaBelle who died Saturday at Miami Children's Hospital after a weeks-long battle with a brain-eating amoeba.
The family says his organs are very strong and that he will be saving many lives with the donation.
Visiting hours were also announced on the Facebook page for Zac dedicated to keeping friends, family and the community updated.
Zac will be kept on a ventilator and friends and family who want to see him can stop by the hospital Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
