NAPLES, Fla. - Protesters rallied at Naples Pier demanding justice in the wake of the Zimmerman verdict, calling for an end to Florida's "stand your ground" law.
More than one hundred people gathered at Naples Pier for a rally, march, and vigil. Protesters came with signs, many of which had messages against the current "stand your ground" law. Others wore hoodies and had the now signature Skittles and iced tea in hand.
The march began at Naples Pier and continued to downtown Naples, and finally back to the pier.
"We stand here today, marching hand and hand, black and white letting people know we will be here always," said Tonge Lawson, "never to forget what happened to Trayvon Martin.
After the march protesters gathered back at the pier for a candlelight vigil.
