BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.- Business is booming in Southwest Florida which means more job opportunities are on the way. The major Hertz announcement has been a big buzz lately bur more corporations are picking up and relocating to the Sunshine State.
"When there's a company that's looking for a place to go, they're looking for a wonderful quality of life. They're looking for a community partner and that's what we've been offering." Bonita Springs Mayor Ben Nelson said.
Bonita Springs city officials stayed tight lipped about details of the newest company coming to Lee County, but FOX4 has learned Blegalbloss will soon call Bonita Springs home.
"They're an amazing and good company, they have a really great idea it is a real technical thing they do in a sense of their design capabilities. So I think the community will be really pleased to have them here." Mayor Nelson said.
The Cincinnati based design company with a bizarre name is known for it's easy to carry, store and strong boxes. The corporation is fairly small now, city officials said there is plenty of opportunity for expansion and job creation.
"I think there is room to grow here in Bonita Springs for any company that would come here of just about any size, we've got a lot of commercial space and commercial property." Mayor Nelson said.
We're specifically looking to expand our company here and bring in more year round jobs." CEO of Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce Christine Ross said.
" When you look at the Hertz announcement and you look at this new future company that means our marketing is working people do see Bonita and Estero as the center of both Lee and Collier County." Ross said.
Bonita City Leaders and the CEO of Blegalbloss are expected to make an official announcement about the company's relocation on July 26th.
