Naples firefighter on the mend, fundraiser planned

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Naples firefighter Corey Adamski's condition was upgraded from fair to good today. Adamski, his wife Kristina, and their two daughters were seriously injured in a July 4 head-on crash that killed 37-year-old Robert Bridwell of Fort Myers.
Kristina Adamski remains in fair condition. She was pregnant at the time of the crash and delivered a daughter Penelope by emergency C-section. Penelope has since died.
Conditions for the Adamski's two surviving daughters, Grace and Chloe have not been released.
A fundraiser will be held on Saturday July 20 in Naples for the Adamski's. The event will be held for 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the South Street Restaurant at 1410 Pine Ridge Road in Naples.
Another benefit includes a barbecue this Saturday afternoon at Sunshine Ace Hardware stores in Lee and Collier Counties. Donations are also being accepted at any 5/3 Bank location.
