Collier Co. 100 Club makes a $5,000 donation to help injured Naples firefighter
NAPLES, Fla.- A Collier County group has donated $5,000 dollars to help a Naples firefighter and his family recover after a car crash on July 4th.
Firefighter Corey Adamski, his wife Kristina and their 2 little girls were coming back from a picnic in Lehigh Acres when their Nissan Sedan was struck by another car. The accident happened on State Road 82. Corey and his wife are now listed in "fair" condition, according to the hospital. Corey had surgery on Monday. The Collier County 100 Club, a group dedicated to helping first responders, donated $5,000 dollars to help the family recover.
Kristina was 8 months pregnant at the time of the crash. The baby had to be delivered with an emergency c-section. No word on the baby's condition.
A fund has been created to help Lt. Corey Adamski and his family with medical bills. The account is open at Fifth Third Bank and any donations can be directly deposited at any Fifth Third bank branch.
