Police investigating Fort Myers shooting

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 2900 block of Lafayette Street in Fort Myers.
The call came in Sunday afternoon before 4 p.m. Police initially received a call from Lee Memorial Hospital about a man who arrived suffering from a gunshot wound.
21-year-old Leonard Hamilton had been shot and then driven to the hospital by a relative.
Officers are not releasing details about the investigation, but a witness says shortly after the call, they saw someone running from the area and into a car that sped off.
