ESTERO, Fla. - A crash involving a Lee County Sheriff's deputy and a woman driving a Cadillac CTS in Estero left both the deputy and the woman with minor injuries Thursday night.

The crash happened at Coconut Road and US 41.

49-year-old Ariel Lusco of Union, Kentucky was attempting to cross US 41 to get to the Coconut Point Mall when she crashed into the deputy's patrol car driven by 29-year-old Christopher Meyer.

A prisoner riding in the back of the cruiser, 24-year-old Luis Moreno, was not injured.
