FDLE arrests Fort Myers man for child pornography
FORT MYERS, Fla. - One man is in the Lee County Jail after being arrested for child pornography.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Cyber High-Tech Crime Task Force arrested 70-year-old Derrick Lynn Brewster of Fort Myers for one count of possession of videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children with the intent to promote, a second degree felony, and three counts of possession of videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children, a third degree felony.
FDLE’s Cyber High-Tech Crime Task Force served a search warrant at Brewster’s home on American Eagle Court and located numerous digital videos of child pornography.
Law enforcement officers and agents from FDLE, Department of Homeland Security Investigations, Fort Myers Police Department, and the Florida Highway Patrol executed the search warrant.
The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 20th Judicial Circuit.
