3 injured in Charlotte County I-75 crash

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - A two vehicle crash on southbound I-75 in Port Charlotte sent three people to the hospital this morning.
Witnesses told the Florida Highway Patrol that 39-year-old Tara Agnew was driving her Honda CRV in the inside lane when she moved over to the outside lane clipping the rear of tractor-trailer. The Honda went down the embankment and caught fire.
Agnew minor injures as did a 7-year-old passenger but a 6-year-old boy also in the vehicle suffered serious injuries.
Agnew is being given a blood alcohol test and charges in the crash are pending.
