North Fort Myers charged with shooting stepson for being "moocher"

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - A North Fort Myers man faces charges of attempted murder for shooting his stepson in the face and neck last week.
The incident happened the morning of Tuesday June 11. 87-year-old William Crow is accused of shooting his stepson as he sat in a car outside of Crow's home. The victim was hit in the face and neck.
The victim wrestled with Crow and forced him to drop the weapon while his mother called 911.
The victim says Crow had been upset with the victim calling him a "moocher" and was tired of his ways.
The victim will survive the shooting.
