Lee County looks to 2nd choice in manager search
FORT MYERS, Fla. - FOX 4 News has learned that Joyce Wilson has pulled out of negotiations to become the next County Manager for Lee County.
Wilson was unable to agree on a salary, vacation time or a car allowance. Sources tell FOX 4 negotiations were $45,000 apart on salary when Wilson declinced the job.
The board will now begin negotiations with its number two choice, current Lee County Chief Deputy Property Appraiser Roger DeJarlais.
