FORT MYERS, Fla. - For Army Specialist Travis Livingston, this year's Father's Day is difficult.
"I miss my kid like crazy," Livingston said.
Livingston left on Father's Day to travel to Germany. There, he will be deployed to Afghanistan in a few weeks time.
He has a six-year-old son named Luke.
"I am going to try and Skype as much as I can when I am over there depending on the Internet capabilities on the base," Livingston said.
As Livingston said goodbye to his family, the Kerr family was waiting for their flight back to Indianapolis.
They were in Fort Myers visiting family.
Dad Gilbert Ortiz was also traveling with family today. Ortiz, his wife and two sons are headed to Sannibel Island for a family reunion.
