FORT MYERS, Fla. - Lee County's largest food pantry is facing closure after Fort Myers city officials say the pantry is creating a traffic mess.
The pantry got a notice from the city Thursday that orders them to close in 30 days or they would be forced to pay a daily fine of $100.
The organization is only open a handful of days a week for just a few hours.
More than 700 families use the food pantry that hands out a million pounds of food a year.
