North Fort Myers man to prison for baby's death

FORT MYERS, Fla. - A North Fort Myers man agreed to a plea deal in the death of his baby that will send him to prison for a long time.
22-year-old Steven Cantrell pleaded guilty to 2nd degree homicide in the death of his two-month-old daughter Jada. The crime happened March 24, 2012.
Cantrell will spend 34 years in prison for his crime.
The baby died after suffering severe head trauma that included multiple skull fractures.
The baby's mother, Faith Boyki, and her family, did not want to go through a trial and they are happy with the outcome.
