Arrest at Southwest Florida International after passenger punch
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Police at Southwest Florida International Airport arrested a man from New York State Friday night for hitting another passenger as they exited a flight.
57-year-old Robert Zamrok of Strykersville, New York is charged with battery and disorderly conduct, brawling.
An airline employee alerted RSW police to Zamrok's punch. Several witnesses including the victim told police that Zamrok became impatient while waiting to exit the plane. When the victim wouldn't move out of the aisle Zamrok struck him in the back of the head.
Zamrok admitted to police that he only pushed the victim and that he was impatient and wanted off the aircraft.
