Report released on Harborside manager's firing

FORT MYERS, Fla. - One day after firing the manager of the Harborside Events Center, the city of Fort Myers released its report detailing an investigation into Rose Rundle.
Rundle was dismissed yesterday after serving as Harborside's manager for more than a decade.
The report focuses on Rundle's relationship with a subordinate. Rundle allowed that employee to move into her home, showed her preferrential treatment and used city resources to support her employee's brother.
Rundle is accused of renting city equipment at a discounted rate to a company in which she has apersonal and financial interest.
The report also says Rundle allowed employees to work from home without management authorization. Rundle also allowed employees to bring children into the workplace, a violation of a directive from the city manager.
