Rainy roads leads to serious Collier County crash

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - Heavy rains led to dangerous conditions contributing to a crash to sent three people to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a car driven by 36-year-old Gabino Soliz III of Immokalee lost control on the wet roadway and hit a SUV driven by 20-year-old Daniel Futch of Immokalee head-on.
Soliz, Futch and a passenger in the car, 29-year-old Anita Garcia all suffered serious injuries.
The FHP charged Soliz for failing to use due care while driving on the rain slicked roadway.
