Lee County deputies search for church vandals
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - Lee County deputies are hoping security footage will help identify three men responsible for breaking into a church and spray painting graffiti on the walls.
On May 25th deputies responded to St. Raphael's Church, located on Lee Boulevard in Lehigh Acres.
The church pastor advised that between 8:00 pm. on May 25 and 2:10 p.m. on May 26, unknown persons entered an unlocked room at the Rectory and spray painted graffiti on the restroom walls and doors.
The vandals also made their way to the parking lot and spray painted a 2000 Cadillac that had been donated to the church. Total damage is estimated at one thousand dollars.
