March against Monsanto in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Outrage about chemical giant Monsanto brought more than 500 people out on the streets of Fort Myers Saturday. Activists say Monsanto is poisoning our food supply.
Critics say Monsanto's genetically modified seeds and chemical herbicide "Round Up" is making literally making people sick.
Protester Hunter Preston said, "These things have been linked with tumors, cancer, heart disease, lots of different health problems from eating them.
Europe requires labels on genetically modified food, but that's not the case in the United States, where Congress keeps voting regulations aimed at doing that down.
Monsanto issued a statement today saying its seeds help farmer produce more food, while conserving energy and water.
