Charlotte County brush fire contained
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida Forestry Service and Charlotte County fire crews battled a brush fire that broke out Saturday afternoon.
The 120 acre brush fire was in the Rotunda West area of Charlotte County.
Fire officials tell FOX 4 the fire is 100% contained. No homes or structures were threatened.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Fire crews warn people in the area to be wary of lingering smoke.
