IMMOKALEE, Fla. -
Eddie Money performed for more than 2,000 fans at the 2nd Annual Balloons over Paradise event at the Seminole Casino.
The pop icon of the seventies and eighties rose to fame with number one hits like, "Two Tickets to Paradise." It even spun a recent Geico commercial featuring the song.
Fox 4 caught up with Money backstage before the show.
"What does it mean to be in this part of paradise," asked Fox 4 reporter Gabrielle Sarann to Money. "I've always loved Florida," he replied.
Money performed for over an hour. He commanded the stage while captivating his audience.
"He's great!" said John Strom, of Fort Myers. "A 64-year-old male, look at him. He's still up there rocking it out like he's 20-years-old."
