March sets a record at Southwest Florida International Airport

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The month of March set a new record for passenger traffic at Southwest Florida International Airport.
1,115,937 passengers traveled through RSW, an increase of 8.9 percent compared to March 2012. For the year passenger traffic is up 7.5 percent.
"This March was the busiest month for passenger traffic at Southwest Florida International Airport since opening on May 14, 1983. I am proud of reaching this significant milestone during our anniversary year, which will mark 30 years of serving Southwest Florida," said Bob Ball, executive director of the Lee County Port Authority.
Delta carried the most passengers at RSW followed by Air Tran and Southwest.
