North Port man arrested for drugs after traffic stop

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - A traffic stop for a driver not wearing a seat belt led to a drug arrest by Charlotte County deputies.
43-year-old Felix Jordan of North Port stopped on Wednesday and given a warning for the seat belt violation. When asked if he had any weapons or drugs in the vehicle Jordan answered no and consented to a search.
The deputy found a prescription bottle with the label removed and found 160 oxycodone pills.
Jordan was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, trafficking of controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
