LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Lee County Commissioners voted unanimously to approve a stoplight at an intersection known for wrecks in the county.
A traffic light will be going in at the intersection of Michael G. Rippe Parkway and Briarcliff Road, on the Metro Parkway Extension.
The intersection has seen several wrecks, and neighbors have complained that a light needed to be put in. Commissioners all voted in favor this morning at their meeting approving the light, which is estimated to cost $225,000.
