Lee County housing rebound continues

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The housing comeback shows no signs of slowing in unincorporated Lee County. Lee County's Department of Community development says contractors pulled 79 permits to build single-family homes in March 2013, compared to 34 pulled in March 2012.
The value of the homes being built totals nearly $14.7 million.
70 permits were issued in February 2013.
Lee County Community Development oversees planning, zoning, development and building services, environmental review, building inspection, and code enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Lee County.
