ESTERO, Fla. - The trip to Texas didn't go the way fans of Florida Gulf Coast University's men's basketball team would have liked, but it didn't stop them from lining up at Alico Arena Saturday afternoon to welcome the team back.
Cheers and high fives greeted the team as they arrived back to Southwest Florida following Friday night's 62 to 50 loss to Florida Friday night.
The big question is now the fate of Eagles head coach Andy Enfield, rumored to be on the coaching short list for bigger programs like USC and Minnesota.
FGCU Athletic Director Ken Kavanagh says Enfield's future is priority one for the school.
