FORT MYERS, Fla. - Ticket sales for the next season of FGCU Basketball are already picking up.

Dave Culbreth with more on that side of the sweet 16 success.

Needless to say this is unusual according to FGCU ticket manager Brian Hoskinson.

"Yeah...very unusual.  Normally we're just doing renewals between April and May.  They go on sale in June and that's when we get all of the requests.  We're a few months ahead of schedule."

This recently retired couple is a case in point in how quickly the excitement can translate into dollars for FGCU.

Kim Erickson says "We bought a home and just moved in three weeks ago.  So we havent' really been able to see them play in person yet, but we've been following them on TV.  And we decide3d it would be fun to get season tickets for next year."

Rob Dillinger from Denver has been on a list to get Denver Broncos season tickets since 1976 and hasn't gotten them. He's much happier with this process.

"My son graduated from here and when I came down here today.  They said they would be happy to put me on a priority list for next season.  And asked for a small deposit that will go towards the cost of next season.  Now I'm lined up to watch exciting Eagles basketball."
