Port Charlotte bank robbery suspect turns himself in

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - A man on the run for three days after robbing a Port Charlotte Bank turned himself in on Friday.
40-year-old Eli Cummins Rogers of Port Charlotte was the main suspect after Tuesday's robbery of the Community First Bank in Port Charlotte.
On Friday the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office had learned the man's identity from photos taken during the heist and released them to the media.
On that same day Rogers, who had shaved his head following the robbery, turned himself in to detectives.
Rogers is in the Charlotte County Jail held on no bond.
