Viewers voice: NYC Mayor wants to get rid of tobacco displays

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is turning his attention to another health issue now that his ban on extra large soda has fizzled out.
He wants to make it illegal to display tobacco products in most retail stores.
Bloomberg says these products send the wrong message to kids.
"Smoking is going to kill these kids. It's going to leave them with not the great career prospects that you'd like, not the education that you'd like. As adults they're likely to smoke if they smoke as kids", said Bloomberg.
We're hearing from viewers here in Southwest Florida saying the Mayor is going too far.
William posted on our Facebook page, "Politicians should learn to stay out of personal choices."
Michael thinks it won't make a difference and wrote, "If you want them, it won't matter if they're in or out of sight."
Noemi said, "I think that's good. Cigarettes cause cancer. Second hand smoke is worse for kids."
Nisa stated, "Hide the cigarettes. It'll stop kids from gazing at the different types leaving them in temptation."
